JD Sheth started a sanitation program in Dago, Kenya, which has a population of about 3,000 residents. Sanitation is an issue in this region with many homes without outhouses or toilets. JD Sheth is committed to constructing 30 pit latrines for the most vulnerable homes and will continue to support this community to prevent disease and provide access to basic needs. Although it’s considered a basic need — and a human right — not everyone has access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. The lack of access can have a disastrous effect on the health and well-being of people.
