Our volunteers and partner foundations are extremely important to us! The JD Sheth Foundation would not be able to do all of the amazing work we do without our dedicated volunteers and the wonderful foundations that partner with us on projects. Here are a few things that they have said about us:
“The younger kids were happy that the bugs and snakes can't come into their beds at night. The older boys, while still focusing on night-time, noted that the security of their new home allowed them to sleep well without worrying about thieves that would come in during the night. (The older boys often slept in shifts to ensure the safety and security through the night).” —Jason rugani, executive director, Binding thread, regarding our dormitory in myanmar
“Jaimie from the JDSF approached our nonprofit HOLA with a partnership opportunity in Guatemala. The foundation made it so easy for us to say "yes" since they planned everything! All we had to do was pay and donate our sweat equity. We were welcomed to the pre planning like old friends and had a great time working alongside JDSF. We are already planning our next partnership!” —Bianca Garcia
“Access to high-quality and affordable water, sanitation, and hygiene products and services is critical to improving the livelihoods and resilience of families around the world. Funding from JD Sheth Foundation increased access and delivery of water to low-income families in northern Ghana, filling a critical need in the market and most importantly impacting the health and wellbeing of all family members.” —Emily Karol, iDE
“The support our organization received from the JD Sheth Foundation has proven invaluable. Jaimie and her board are truly invested in our project and each and every project they support. They don’t simply fund a project and move on; they pour themselves into their projects and follow-up regularly. Their commitment to their partnerships has ensured success and sustainability of their projects around the world. I’m honored to know and work with this amazing team.” —Julie Anthony, Imani Milele Children
“On November 5, 2021, I filled out an application for a project called ‘Home of the Brave’ that I had heard about from my Section 8 caseworker. I was super excited at the possibility of home ownership. After missing a meeting at River City Coffee, an earth angel named Jaimie Sheth came to my apartment and changed my life. The process involved taking a 16-week life skills and management class in a small group setting which is completely out of my comfort zone due to my severe PTSD. With Jaimie's constant support, and when necessary, tough love, I achieved my end goal of home ownership and closed on my home on October 27, 2023. So many friends, family, and community members helped me achieve this goal. What I would like to say to Jaimie and the JD Sheth Foundation is thank you so much for changing my life for the better and God bless you all.” — Regina Bennett, Army Veteran (Desert Storm)
“We greatly appreciate the JD Sheth’s Foundation’s support of Tri-State Food Bank’s project to install an air purification system which helps prolong the shelf life of fresh produce. This was a specialized, niche project and something that Tri-State Food Bank has been wanting to do since we moved into our new facility. The project helped reduce food waste and provide an estimated additional 13,000 pounds of fresh produce going to families’ tables versus a landfill.” —Glenn Roberts, Executive Director, Tri-State Food Bank, Inc.
“Enabled Children Initiative is grateful for the kind and meaningful support provided in 2023 by JD Sheth Foundation. With their support, a new playground was purchased and installed for ECI’s school yard in Kabul, Afghanistan. The school is the only school in Afghanistan for children with all types of disabilities. Having a playground that was specifically made to meet the needs of children with disabilities has significantly increased the quality of playtime for the school students, as well as supported their motor skills. And lastly, but not least, brought a huge amount of joy to their lives. We at ECI are grateful for JD Sheth Foundation for listening to the needs raised by our local team and responding to them by funding our playground project.” —Sari Bernardo, ECI Executive Director
