In December of 2017 - 2021, the JD Sheth Foundation assisted the staff at Castle South Middle School in Newburgh, IN with their Dragon Christmas Program. Students of low-income families are encouraged to sign up for the giving tree. On their wish list, they can ask for a clothing item and one additional item, such as a toy, game, or book. Volunteers then pick a wish list to help the staff provide Christmas gifts for these students. The JD Sheth Foundation gives each student a $25 Walmart gift card to be used toward food and/or hygiene products.
In 2021, the JD Sheth Foundation donated 64 gift cards to the Dragon Christmas Program. Thank you to everyone who donated to this project and thank you to the staff at Castle South Middle School for their work to provide a better holiday for students in need.
