JD Sheth partnered with Ark Crisis Children’s Center to remodel their existing laundry facility. Ark provides a safe place for children and is a resource for parents and caregivers by helping with emergency day care. Ark does 5-10 loads of laundry per day, including blankets used for naptime, all donated clothing prior to use, and any soiled clothes that children arrive in. Ark serves approximately 400 children a year, newborn to age six. 98% of the clients are very low to low income according to HUD guidelines.
This laundry remodel has helped to make the space more efficient and increase the capacity of the laundry they can do. It also created a safer space to store laundry and cleaning supplies.
