In January 2015, the original DReam Team was formed consisting of a 20 person team from all over the United States. In June 2015, our team flew down to the Dominican Republic and was committed to building one multi-room, wooden home with electricity in four days. We built it in three. Our designated family received donated furnishings, food, supplies, and money for the construction of an indoor toilet. This was a life changing experience for many and for some, it was the first time they had been out of the country or on a volunteer trip abroad. Special thank you for those who donated towards this project and our DReam Team members who volunteered their time and money to put a roof over this family’s head.
